proving/igneum-prove depends on vendor/igneum-node-exec/igneum/evm-types, a member of the fork's workspace that inherits
from the fork's root manifest; syncing that one directory left cargo without a workspace root on the box. lib.sh now groups
path dependencies by git top level: a repository under vendor/ is pushed to its mirror (a fork worktree to
/srv/igneum-node.git, a repository of its own to /srv/<name>.git, created on first use), checked out whole at
/srv/builds/<worktree>/vendor/<name> and overlaid whole; run-from-mac.sh wires every vendor repository the Cargo.toml files
reach. libprotobuf-dev added (sp1-prover-types imports google/protobuf/empty.proto). build-remote.sh no longer fails on a
default artefact the caller's own -p selection did not build. Proof on the box: igneum-prove-host 71,943,192 B, sha256
e9213e3a6c979512d7859f6d8e848105bab53f4355e99fb0d30fb4a72c2d5714, 1 min 05 s warm. Plan: gotcha rows for the case, the
protoc miss and one lost ssh session (collector cleared by test).

override-60x.json keeps master's side (the rehearsal object with the fresh-rule dedup) plus exec_restart_state_root; docs/bench-log.md is the union of both sides.

Mine, Earnings and Settings on igneum.network/miner are now the installed 0.3.14 app on PC 1 (RTX 5090 at 122 MH/s,
222 W, 0.55 MH/W, 56 C; RTX 4070 at 28.7 MH/s, 76 W; RX 9070 XT at 18.9 MH/s, 198 W; 169 MH/s at 532 W; Ember Tune
and Power control on), shot read only by the signed run job site-capture-pc1-1 with Edge headless and brought back
over the relay. Masked in pixels: the job's own strip cut out of the content column, the rail foot and the Settings
name field (hostname, address) painted over, the Earnings address box painted over. Captions say PC 1, the time, that
no electricity price is set and that the tune lines are stopped tunes from before that afternoon's Power Helper fix.
Prove, light and the phone width stay the Mac's (PC 1's Prove shows an exporter error line that belongs in a bug
report; headless Edge followed the Windows theme so its light set is dark; its 390 px window clipped the right edge).
The contact sheet is refreshed.

Variant C and the Earnings reshaping reverted: Mine and Earnings are exactly as shipped in 0.3.14. Kept from the
polish round: every strip, ask and clock card on the brand tokens (the row surface, a 1 px ember hairline on top,
ash text, ember only on the dot and the chevron; no filled brown or mustard field anywhere; the update strip and the
job strip share .notice), the plain-language strip and event sentences with the technical line behind the chevron,
the header baseline and the pill wording. 36 UI tests pass.

The node pin moves to 4c6b129d (release-0.3.14-node), which is what the live payload inputs carry, so windows-ci's payload-inputs step is green again (red since e9eca23 on master's 0.3.13 pin against the 0.3.14 inputs).
Conflicts: infra/fast-time/override-60x.json keeps master's side (the fresh-rule field was already there at u64::MAX; the release line would be a duplicate key); tools/ci/playbook-quit-check.sh keeps master's rule 2 and pre-rule list with the release side's Ember allow entry and the 0.3.15 expiry check.

remote-run.sh gains a checkout mode used by lib.sh: git checkout -- . and git clean -fd (target dirs, the sha stamps and
ignored files kept), fetch, branch at the commit, then a clean-tree check; the overlay follows. Before this, the rsync of
uncommitted files stayed in the box's tree and the next commit's git checkout -B refused with 'local changes would be
overwritten'. remote-run.sh --self-test reproduces the dirty tree (edited tracked file, untracked file, target dir, sha
stamp), shows the plain checkout refusing and the mode landing clean on the new commit; it runs in ci.yml and passed on the
Mac and the box; a live dirty-then-clean pair on the fork worktree passed too. Plan: section 5, gotchas of the first day.

The "LIVE DEVNET" scene on the home page showed blocks 21, proven 0, locked 3 and grey nodes while the devnet stood past
chain block 140,000 with 2,090 shards paid and a checkpoint locking every 30 s. Four causes, all in site/index.html:
- "blocks" was the scene's own spawn counter, never the chain;
- "proven" counted blocks of the 90 s window whose shards were all paid, and proofs land a median 380 s behind the tip
(median_proof_lag_s), so the window can never hold one;
- "locked" counted locked checkpoint blocks inside the same 90 s window (always about 3);
- the live path skipped the colour state machine, so every real block stayed grey, and a failed first fetch left the
simulation running under a label that looked live, with no further polls.
Now: /api/live carries state.height (the chain block number, the same field /api/stats reports, one indexed subquery);
the scene's counters read chain block (state.height), shards proven (proving.paid_shards_total, the node's count of paid
shard records, with the 10-minute count and the median lag in the note) and last lock (finality.latest_locked_index);
live blocks take the observer's own words (pending, included, excluded, proven, locked checkpoint, final to its left),
refreshed on every poll, with a legend in those words; the hero tile shows the chain block instead of the node's
held-block count; polling never stops (2 s while fresh, 10 s while off) and the off state is labelled "simulated preview ·
live feed unavailable" or "observer offline, last update N ago" with a note that the counters count simulated blocks.
Also found while verifying: the scene advanced a fixed 16 ms per frame, so it ran at double speed on 120 Hz displays;
it now uses the real frame time, capped at 50 ms.
/live had the same window bug in its "proven 0/16" counter; it now reads the observer's 10-minute truth (chain blocks
with every shard paid, of the chain blocks planned in 10 min) with the lag and the chain total in its title.
Verified against the live API through tools/site-serve.mjs in the built-in browser and headless Chromium:
chain block 140,489, shards proven 2,130, last lock #6,784; the failed-fetch state shown by blocking /api/live.
Screenshots: docs/plans/site-ui-3-shots/item0/ (1440 and 390, live and failed). Checks: identity grep 0 hits,
link check 708 links 0 broken, site/api tests 14 pass, site build clean.

Real screenshots of the live 0.3.14 app on the Apple M5 Max (paused, Ember Tune off, as the project lead left it), shot headless
at 1440x900 and 390 px, dark and light, the rail foot, the address and the machine id masked: miner-dashboard.webp
(the hero, same name), miner-earnings, miner-prove, miner-settings, miner-dashboard-light, miner-phone.
miner.html: a page-by-page section (the card row cell by cell, three page shots, light and the phone), the lead and
the meta copy name the four pages and pounds a day at the user's price, the Ember Tune feat carries the app's one
sentence and the measured PC 1 rows from the 6 Oct log (5090: 311.0 to 226.8 W for 0.15% of rate; 4070: 106.0 to
75.6 W for none; the floor, not the optimum), the Power control feat (one approval, then the helper task, no prompts),
the dev fee moved to Earnings as in the app. index.html: the same hero shot, two pills. build.mjs: the caption no
longer says 'until 0.3.6' (0.3.14 still says Igneum Miner). The 9070 XT row, the market price for pounds earned and
the bench anchor (the run 6 entry is on the ship0314 branch) are marked as owed or coming.
relay/playbooks/site-capture-pc1.ps1: a read-only run job that shoots the installed app's UI on PC 1 with Edge
headless and drops the PNGs on the relay (no quit, pause, resume or settings change; passes the playbook checks).

the project lead picked C. The Mine hero is the fleet rate at 84 px on a graphite-to-obsidian fade with W, £ a day and blocks
beside it, Start/Stop as a full-width bar under it; Earnings carries the same shape with the £ figure big. The
?variant switch is gone. Every strip, ask and clock card is one component: the row surface, a 1 px ember hairline on
top, ash text, ember only on the dot and the chevron; no filled brown or mustard field anywhere in the app (the rail's
active item, the pill, the ghost-on button, the option, the ring, the log hit and mark lost their tints). The update
strip and the job strip share .notice. 36 UI tests pass.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
No raw job, manifest or relay text on a user surface: the job strip reads 'A job from the team ran: update check,
0 min.' with the technical line behind a chevron; 'Updated to 0.3.14 at 18:52.'; the Activity feed maps every engine
event string to a sentence (View.plainEvent, 80 patterns, the engine line as the tooltip) with a kind dot. The header
puts the title, subtitle and pill on one baseline; the pill is a sentence with a coloured dot (Mining · 511 MH/s,
Paused, Syncing the node, Node restarting, Engine not answering). Three Mine layouts behind ?variant=a|b|c (quieter,
denser, hero number) for the project lead to pick. 390 px strip on one line. 36 UI tests pass.

The audit (docs/plans/miner-ui-3-audit.md, 27 screenshots): no money anywhere, three red n/a per Apple row,
tuning split across two pages, 370 px of controls per card, Prove's 95 words and four zeros, Node's eleven
numbers, the jobs table on every Updates page, fixes two taps away, no light mode, no layout under 900 px,
developer lines on user surfaces.
The design (docs/plans/miner-ui-3.md): four sections (Mine, Earnings, Prove, Settings); the card row carries the
state word with its reason, MH/s, W with MH/W, £ a day at the user's electricity price, °C, Tune, the switch,
and its details under a chevron (cap slider, identities, pin, telemetry, the tune table); the tune line per row
(not tuned yet / tuning: step k of n with a bar / tuned N ago · point · next check <weekday> / measured only and
why / pinned / stopped / fleet pause); Tune all; the goal (Efficiency, Balanced, Maximum) with its £ a day; Power
control as one switch where it is the fix; the node as one line with Details; updates as one card; earnings money
first, IGN second; proving as a tier sentence per card; every costly action confirmed in place (quit, change
address, show key, trust mode), no dialogs; light and dark; a bottom tab bar under 720 px.
The build: index.html, app.css, app.js rewritten on the same engine routes; the pure blocks keep their API and
carry ember-tune's tuneNotice, tuneWord, toggle states and tune-line test (0bf27b1) so the merge is clean; the
update card is named Igneum Miner; the Rust side is untouched. node --test on the four UI files: 35 pass.

Main's decision of 6 October 2026. CLAUDE.md 'Running agents on this Mac': every Linux and Windows cargo build and every
Linux test suite goes to igneum-build-1 through tools/build-remote.sh and tools/cross-remote.sh; the PCs keep GPU and
Windows-runtime jobs; the Mac keeps macOS binaries, the DMG and Metal tests under the lock. -Wl,--no-insert-timestamp in
cross-remote.sh, proto-cuda/windows-node/cross-build.sh and jobbuild.rs (two box builds byte-identical, verified).
The empty-commit class: tools/ci/commit-string-check.sh (self-test in ci.yml, shown firing on a Mac worktree build and
passing on a box build) runs on every igneumd from the three build scripts; push-build-inputs.sh adds node.commit_full,
the PC job writes a minimal node/.git from it at extract and cleans kaspa-build-info on a new commit (4 jobbuild tests
pass, run on the box); cross-build.sh refuses a worktree and cleans on a new commit. Plan: second worktree's clean build
1 min 18 s with sccache 604 hits of 993.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
remote-run.sh runs on the box behind BR_* exports: slot, sccache stats, the RESULT line and one JSON line per run in
/srv/builds/_log/builds.jsonl (v 1, id, host, tool, worktree, crate, kind, command, target, branch, sha, label, agent, slot,
wait_s, queued_at, start, end, secs, exit, compiles, sccache, load_end, artefacts; written on success, failure and the 2 h
slot give-up), the label ending in '; agent=<name>' (IGNEUM_AGENT, default the worktree). The remote checkout is a branch and
build-remote.sh cleans kaspa-build-info (release profile) on a new commit, so the box's igneumd carries its commit hash
(no Mac worktree build does: .git is a file there). cross-remote.sh fetches the GCC 13 runtime DLLs beside an exe that
imports libstdc++-6.dll. The plan holds the three benchmarks: clean node build 1 min 27 s (Mac 12 to 18 min), incremental
7 s (Mac 2 to 15 min), Windows cross 1 min 44 s (Mac 4 min 49 s to 12 min 28 s), their consequences and the proposed rules.

Branch site-truth-2026-10-06 = master 9519a95 + merge of ledger-text (the 45 conceded sentences of the 5 October close) + cherry-picks 6141e01, 8c5b02f (the bounty strikes) and 1a238bc (review round 4 reddit) + this commit. The hero chip line follows the owner's pick of 16:25 UTC (draft (a) of docs/plans/counter-asic-3-status.md section 6 with the owner's last sentence). Every number carries its source beside it. No em dashes. Site build, identity-check.sh (0 hits over 224 files) and the private-string sweep of the built pages pass.
Changed sentences, before and after (lines are master's where the sentence existed):
site/index.html:343 hero

A memory-controller chip that stores the whole dataset reaches 1.2x per chip and, in our model, 5x to 9x per joule; the Ethash chips of this class reached 2.1x to 4.8x. The lever against it, program work in the latency shadow, is measured and in its gates: it brings the chip to about 2x. The model is public: the numbers.

site/litepaper.html:645 (Governance, admin keys) appended: On the devnet the activation heights and one execution-state restart (6 October 2026) reach every node through the signed update manifest, so on the devnet the release key acts as the operator; the sentence above holds for mainnet consensus only once that path is closed, and the public testnet terms will say which parameters still travel that way.
site/litepaper.html, Questions miners ask added: the entry "Don't ASICs make a chain safer?" (three parts and a five-row table; the rental row cites the fleet's bench entry that lands tonight and the 50-miner wave row reads "measurement tonight")
site/litepaper.html:733 (What Igneum does not claim, the chip item) before: ... approximate; the claim is under 2x, the margin is stated on the numbers page, and the next lever is named there. The console-window class (the project lead, 5 October 2026: "Windows Command Processor" windows on PC 1 whenever a remote job runs).
Measured on PC 1 (ae432dc7, Windows 11 Pro 26200, default terminal "Let Windows decide" = Windows Terminal 1.24) with
tools/windows/console-watch.ps1 (job run-20261005-182528): no child a job script starts from the app's headless
console opens a window (powershell, cmd, query, curl, nvidia-smi, wsl --status, a distro, interop cmd and powershell,
powershell -WindowStyle Hidden: 0 windows each); Start-Process in a new console opens a Terminal window (the known-failed
case: 2 windows), the same with -WindowStyle Hidden opens none (the known-finished case). The elevated path
(Start-Process -Verb RunAs -WindowStyle Hidden through the AppInfo service) is the one road left; its watcher
(console-watch-elevated.ps1, job run-20261005-184610) was cancelled at the UAC prompt.
- platform.rs: elevated_ps_line + elevated_command build the one PowerShell line every elevated launch uses (the NVIDIA
power cap, the sweep helper, the clock sync, an elevated remote job), -WindowStyle Hidden by construction; unit
tests on the line, the quoting and the Command.
- jobrun.rs: the elevated job path uses it; the relaunch helper's Start-Process carries the reason it has no
-WindowStyle Hidden (igneum-app.exe is a windows-subsystem program).
- tools/ci/windows-spawn-check.mjs (+ ci.yml): fails when a Command::new in app/igneum-app/src is not quieted,
a creation_flags is not CREATE_NO_WINDOW alone, a Start-Process the Rust code writes lacks -WindowStyle Hidden or
-NoNewWindow, or host.cpp spawns without CREATE_NO_WINDOW / SW_HIDE; self-test on known-good and known-bad samples.
- tools/windows/console-watch.ps1, console-watch-bg.ps1, console-watch-elevated.ps1: the watchers (run jobs).

The M5 Max ladder (Metal, packbench, IOReport GPU and DRAM watts without root): latency-bound to about 100,000 ops per
hash, the 5 percent point about 130,000, 11 to 27 W GPU at 100,000 ops, 0.78 to 1.40 microjoules per hash; the
verifier's law 2.06 ms + 3.2 us per 1,000 shadow instructions per warp on one core; every pack bit-exact. The
analysis file with the knob, the chip side (k = 1, 1.5, 0.3), the gates and the consequences; the bench-log entry;
the 5090 rows pending the PC 2 job (the playbook now carries the core-clock rows and the sh256x40 rung).

docs/plans/counter-asic-3-derivation.md (the design, the acceptance test, the interpreter, the allowance argument,
the measurements, the PROPOSED reserve entry R0 for 1.13.2, what is owed), docs/analysis/chip-model-v3.md section 6
(the per-day derivation rows at 1.0x to 3x allowances), the bench-log entry, relay/playbooks/ca3-derive-pc2.ps1
(one PC 2 job: self-fetched packs zip, the installed worker through NVRTC, the card off only under test with its
key from settings.json). Verifier 4.875 / 4.944 ms per unit on one M5 Max core under the measure lock against
x8's 2.061 / 2.063; Metal build 29 ms against 22; hash rate equal; bit-exact on Metal and Apple OpenCL.

docs/plans/funding.md rule 5: the bounty is escrowed and the benchmark live before daily
issuance crosses USD 20,000 a day, with the price-per-IGN table per halving period.
docs/plans/epoch-length.md section 11: the detector alert held 6 net windows recommends
the next shorter ladder step, per-tier costs at 2,400 and 600, the adversary's share per
compile class. Section 12: HBM FPGA parts with sources, reads in flight per watt against
the RTX 5090 (0.3x to 0.4x at Shuhai's measured rate, up to 1.9x at the unmeasured bank
ceiling), the two FPGA lanes in one table, and the ranking: layer 9 above layer 7.

f = 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 on GDDR7 (the 5090's board), one HBM3 stack and eight HBM3 stacks, scored in energy per
hash, reads in flight per watt, rate per chip and dollars per MH/s against the RTX 5090 at 136.1 MH/s and 326 W.
The curve is monotone toward f = 1; the f = 1 chip reads 5.1x (GDDR7) to 9.2x (HBM3) per joule in the model and
2.1x to 4.8x by the Ethash precedent: over 2x. The mixer and item 2 do not touch it; the levers named are the
5090's watts under a power cap (a PC 2 job, owed) and program work in the latency shadow. Inputs cited with URLs
read 6 October 2026; the mixer counted from memhard.rs at 128 hoisted / 144 unhoisted ops per application.

One row in the funding table (USD 80,000 to 160,000 for two independent reviews, basis the four RandomX reviews of 2019 at their published per-firm prices and person-days) and a section "The mixer cryptanalysis brief (Counter ASIC 3.0 item 3)": the target shape from memhard.rs and accept.rs, the ranked break list with the chip-model number each moves, deliverables and timebox, the soundness suite to re-run, acceptance criteria in the RandomX audit style, candidate reviewers with citations, the risk column against the two-publish rollout, the timing against the testnet go checklist, and the consequences per user tier. Nothing else in the file is touched.

The statement and the pinned guests are unchanged; every fixture proof verifies as before. The defaults stay (batch-log2 22, SP1 defaults): the one knob that moves a mining card's prover costs a fifth of the hash rate; the plan carries the trade for the project lead and the batch fold for the next pin. Measured: docs/bench-log.md "aggregation cost on the RTX 5090"; the plan line: docs/plans/proving-v1.md "Aggregation cost (5 October, night)". Also: make-package's gate skips the exporter's .node-plan.json side files and takes the run lock for its execute step; the state-reply class (/api/state answering {} once paid_wei passes u64::MAX) found on the way and fixed on the app branch at 42f36b3.

serde_json's to_value refuses a u128 over u64::MAX (18.45 IGN) and state_json turned the error into json!({}). A paid shard is 1.23 IGN on average, so a proving machine's dashboard went blank about 15 paid shards after every app start. Unit test over the boundary; 114 app tests pass.
