Igneum Miner 0.2.0 for Mac (Apple silicon only: M1 or later). Devnet v4, 4 October 2026. Test network; nothing is bought or sold.
Nobody from Igneum will ever ask for your seed.
1. Drag "Igneum Miner" into Applications. It will not start from this disk image.
2. First time: in Applications, right-click "Igneum Miner" and choose Open, then Open again. The app is unsigned.
If macOS still refuses, open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, click "Open Anyway", open the app again.
3. A Terminal window called "Igneum Miner" opens. It starts the node, shows "syncing, N blocks" until it has the chain
(usually under a minute), then starts the Metal miner. Every 30 s one status line: blocks, MH/s, node blocks and peers.
4. Your miner appears on igneum.network/live within about a minute of its first block, under the id the window prints.
Block rewards go to the EVM address the window prints (set PAYOUT_EVM in the environment to use your own).
5. To stop: press Ctrl+C in that window (miner stops first, then the node). If the window was closed, open "Stop Igneum Miner".
Devnet v4 is a new chain: the data lives in ~/Library/Application Support/Igneum/devnet-v4 (an older devnet folder there is left alone).
The Mac stays awake while the window is open. Logs: ~/Library/Logs/Igneum.
