826b29f6a5 Per-monitor DPI awareness for the Windows host (dpi-23, 7 October 2026, PC 2's 5120 by 2160 at 200 percent rendered stretched and blurry): host.manifest declares PerMonitorV2 (and true/pm), embedded by host.rc as RT_MANIFEST with the link at /MANIFEST:NO; SetProcessDpiAwarenessContext at start as the runtime path for a Windows that ignores the manifest, SetProcessDPIAware as the last fallback; WM_DPICHANGED takes the suggested rectangle so WebView2 re-renders at the new monitor's scale; the opening-size rule now runs in logical pixels (opening_size.h igneum_opening_size_scaled: the primary monitor's physical work area and its DPI from GetDpiForMonitor, looked up at run time, LOGPIXELSX as the fallback), so the 1440 by 900 and 1920 caps mean CSS pixels as on the Mac (PC 2 opens 1625 by 1016 logical, 3250 by 2032 physical, sharp); the remembered frame is logical on both hosts (the unaware host read virtualised coordinates), kept as it is, with a WindowUnits marker from here; six scaled cases in opening_size_test.c (the test could not compile before the function existed); tools/windows/dpi-check.ps1 is the read-only PC-job check (awareness, rectangle, monitor DPI, logical size; -Expect PerMonitorV2 fails on the 0.3.22 host, which reads Unaware); host.cpp touched

0974737822 The opening window size, one rule for both hosts (window-22, 7 October 2026, the project lead on PC 2: "why did the app open super wide?"): scaling-21's 80 percent of the work area scaled above 1920 wide opened 2752 by 1152 on a 3440-wide area and 3072 by 864 on a two-monitor span, and a remembered WindowW/WindowH could carry that into later starts; now app/windows/opening_size.h: the PRIMARY monitor's work area (MonitorFromPoint primary, never the virtual desktop), width 80 percent capped at 1440 up to a 1920-wide display and 1920 beyond, height from the width at 16:10 bounded by the work area, never wider than 1.6 times the height, never under 900 by 600, never over the work area; a remembered frame kept only when it fits the work area, the minimum and the aspect cap, and never saved when it would not; the Mac window mirrors the rule on NSScreen.screens.first and discards an autosave frame that fails it; opening_size_test.c compiles on the gate with cc (known-failed first: it could not compile before the header, and 0.3.21's rule fails the 3440 by 1440 and the 3840 by 1080 cases); host.cpp touched (the shipper's named line)

ab8e23c8cc Scaling (the project lead, 7 October 2026: "the miner needs some scaling so more is visible in the initial window"): the window opens at about 80 percent of the screen's work area, capped at 1440 by 900 on a display up to 1920 wide and scaled up with the display beyond that, remembered per machine once the user resizes (the Mac window's frame autosave name; the Windows host's HKCU Software/Igneum/Miner WindowW and WindowH, written on WM_EXITSIZEMOVE and used while they fit the work area); the Overview's vertical rhythm tightened so the rate band, the big button, the ladder strip, the chain card and the node card's first row sit above the fold at 1280 by 800 (gaps, paddings and the scene's height 220 to 184 px; no type below 13 px; the live scene and the GPU marks keep their look); fold.test.mjs measures the Overview's key elements inside the viewport at 1280 by 800, 1440 by 900 and 1920 by 1080 and the first object of Cards, Earnings and Prove, with Playwright on build-2 (known-failed on 0.3.21: the chain card ended at 836 and the node row at 900 of 800), skipping where there is no Playwright env; tools/ui-mock/fold-measure.cjs prints the numbers; captures at 1280 by 800 and 1920 by 1080

e68ba08ccc MF-11 update-return (0.3.21), the app half on release-0.3.21: the Windows update helper owns the return (the exe set kept beside the app, the app launched by the helper, api/state polled 120 s, the kept set restored when nothing answers, one intake line either way; the installer stays silent under /IGNOTA=2), the window host restarts a dead engine and answers the Restart Manager, the first act after an update is the read-back line and a FAULT pc-restart line when the PC came up from a power loss; the tuner never asks above a card's measured efficient point (the 5090 at 308 W, floored at the vendor's 400 W) unless Power control is on and the user raised the cap, and a refused cap is asked again at 2 and 10 min then reported as FAULT power-cap; the job-channel ping on every wake request (7 October 2026, PC 2 lost power at 10:46Z; the relay half stays on update-return)

4793cca547 Miner UI 4 (b): a screenshot from the machine itself: POST /api/shot asks the window host over the SHOT line; the Mac host snapshots the web view, the Windows host captures through WebView2, both to <data root>/shots/; app-shot.ps1 plus a collect glob bring it back. 152 app tests on the box.

0ef80a99bd The one approved Power control step on PC 1 failed with exit 1 (15:45:21Z, no cap applied, no helper registered): cmd.exe strips the first and last quote of a /c line that starts with one and holds more than two (two NVIDIA cards, or a cap plus the registration script); both launchers now wrap the line in one outer pair (platform::cmd_c_args, host.cpp runElevated), unit-tested; Ember 2: the memory clock set through nvidia-smi -lmc/-rmc (direct and through the helper's lmc/rmc verbs), the goal, the electricity price and the hill-climb switch in Settings and /api/tune/goal, the chosen point's memory clock and the measured curve on the card

cbe031b39c Merge gpu-hotplug (bd21f2a) into miner-ui-2: the hot-plug card states on the six-section UI
The Notices block takes the hot-plug notices as on gpu-hotplug (card added, not usable, removed). The View block
and the Mine rows, the first-run rows and the Settings cards show a removed card (dimmed, no switch, the row goes
after five minutes) and a faulty card (named in ember, the OS problem code, the reboot hint, no switch); the big
button and the counts take only present cards; the name tooltip carries the tool's code, the device, the platform
and the PCI address. view.test.mjs covers the two states. host.cpp keeps both the WM_GETMINMAXINFO and the
WM_DEVICECHANGE cases.

Build tooling: push-build-inputs.sh and build-job.mjs take --no-node (the app engine only, no node source, no node
build, no node tests), for an app-only PC compile.

6bf6af9533 Igneum Miner UI 2: six sections behind a rail (Mine, Prove, Rewards, Node, Updates, Settings)
The one long page becomes a rail with six sections, a thin top bar and the status strip under it; the setup
screens and the key sheet stay. Mine: one big start/stop, the numbers, one row per GPU with its switch, hash
rate, temperature and power. Prove: the switch with plain words, the counts, the verifier, the pinned ids.
Rewards: the address with one Copy, the key backup card, another address. Node: the plain lines, the consensus
digest, the next switch. Updates: the version, the jobs. Settings: one switch or slider per setting with one line
of help. Every function that existed is placed, none removed.

Engine (three small additions, each with a unit test): node.consensus_digest from the node's own line,
node.consensus_switches from the override file, proving.program_id and aggregator_id from the host's --mode id.
Hosts: the window minimum is 900 x 600 on both. UI tests: view.test.mjs (10) joins notices and update-card in CI.
Proof: docs/plans/miner-ui-2.md and the 19 screenshots under docs/plans/miner-ui-2/, taken from a build of this
tree running on its own port against the devnet.

d7049fdfda app: GPU hot-plug (re-detection every minute, WM_DEVICECHANGE on Windows), faulty cards listed with the problem code, integrated GPUs off by default, the card list in the console
5 October 2026: an RX 9070 XT went into PC 1 through a Sonnet USB4 box while the app ran and nothing noticed; the
app detected cards once at start. Now src/hotplug.rs compares every enumeration with the list (key, else vendor +
name when unique; a card whose tool did not answer is never called removed): a new usable card starts a worker,
enabled by default like a card at start, with "New card: <name>, mining" on the strip and in the log; a card
Windows lists with a problem code (Win32_VideoController Status / ConfigManagerErrorCode) is shown as "<name>: not
usable (Code 43)" with the reboot-or-reinstall hint and no worker; a card that disappears has its worker stopped
(quit, 8 s) and its row says removed for five minutes, then hides; an unchanged list touches nothing. The Windows
host sends "detect" on WM_DEVICECHANGE; the engine polls every 60 s (300 s on macOS, no GPU hot-plug there).

detect.rs: the Ryzen iGPU is "gfx1036" to the OpenCL worker, so the APU gfx codes count as integrated, plus the
adapter row's Intel processor string and a dedicated memory under 1 GB; integrated defaults to off with "integrated
GPU, off by default (2 to 3 MH/s for 30 W)" on the row, and the user's choice is kept across re-detections and
restarts (settings, found by key or by vendor + name when the index moved).

Console: the engine logs "cards: <name> [<kind>, <state>] | ..." at start, on every change and every 10 minutes;
relay/lib/parse.mjs reads it and the hot-plug events, the machines API and tools/console.mjs machines show them.

Tests: hotplug.rs (added, removed, moved, errored, recovered, revived, unchanged, twins, user override kept,
the console line), detect.rs (PC 1's adapter lines, the Mac, kind classification, the unusable row),
notices.test.mjs (card notices), relay parse.test.mjs (cards line). cargo test -p igneum-app: 91 passed.

456eff08d5 Igneum Miner round-4 fixes: the dashboard token is never logged and token lines never upload (R4.3.8); every helper by absolute path and Program Files read-only, fallback worker build under the app data folder (R4.3.3); the download and the staged bundle re-verified right before the swap or the elevated run, quarantine stripped only after that (R4.3.5); mutating POSTs refused unless same-origin (R4.3.7); no rollback below min_supported_version and no automatic re-apply of a failed version (R4.3.6); the signed manifest's consensus.override written to override.json for --override-params-file with a safe-moment node restart and 'consensus switch at DAA N' on the node tile, an old node that rejects the file runs without it; devnet vote-key note in the key sheet and READMEs

3eb7af819f Igneum Miner: the NVIDIA power cap is judged by reading nvidia-smi back (anything but the requested watts = NOT applied), the card tile and Settings say 'power cap: N W applied' or 'power cap NOT applied (needs the administrator prompt)' with a Retry, the elevated step runs through the window host (ShellExecuteEx runas, a UI context) with the PowerShell path as the 150 s fallback, events either way, cap state in the stability line (PC 2 mined uncapped at 118 MH/s on 0.3.1)

7717c4fdac Windows CI: the one-click app built on GitHub runners, no PC needed
windows.yml: parse job (every .ps1 through the Windows PowerShell 5.1 parser with a negative fixture, PSScriptAnalyzer
as warnings, parenthesis check of every .bat/.cmd with a negative fixture), build job (engine on the MSVC target,
window host through BUILD-APP.bat as it is, payload through make-payload.sh in Git Bash, installer through
build-installer.ps1, smoke run of both exes, launcher DRY_RUN, three artifacts for 90 days).
push-inputs.sh publishes payload-inputs.zip (node, miner, workers, NVRTC DLLs) to the downloads host from the Mac;
fetch-ci-artifacts.sh pulls the green run's installer and payload back into the downloads folder.
Host: --version and --help, version.h shared with host.rc. Launcher: DRY_RUN=1 prints the plan and starts nothing.
