9c194ad675 Aggregation cost on the 5090 (5 October, night): the chained aggregation is 2.1 s alone and 9.7 s beside the miner, the batch-log2 curve (2^16 buys 1.6x for a fifth of the hash rate), batch and tree folds estimated, two streams and SP1 knobs closed; the host times the stdin build and names the knobs, --save-shards; the PC 2 job scripts and the readers
The statement and the pinned guests are unchanged; every fixture proof verifies as before. The defaults stay (batch-log2 22, SP1 defaults): the one knob that moves a mining card's prover costs a fifth of the hash rate; the plan carries the trade for the project lead and the batch fold for the next pin. Measured: docs/bench-log.md "aggregation cost on the RTX 5090"; the plan line: docs/plans/proving-v1.md "Aggregation cost (5 October, night)". Also: make-package's gate skips the exporter's .node-plan.json side files and takes the run lock for its execute step; the state-reply class (/api/state answering {} once paid_wei passes u64::MAX) found on the way and fixed on the app branch at e4e9726.

d0eac3dd04 Proving: pinned guest programs, the verifier on SP1's light verifier
On 5 October 2026 the Mac's host (shard program id 0x0559759b...) rejected every
proof from PC 2's host (0x05db1aca...). Both were built from the same guest
sources: host/build.rs compiled the guests on each machine and the ELF depends
on where it is built (cargo's -C metadata for a path crate includes the checkout
path; a worktree on the same Mac gave a third id, 0x0dfade07...). The node's
verifier also spent 114 s to 138 s per proof in the prover client and both key
setups before a 0.1 s to 0.4 s verify.

- elf/: both guest ELFs, their verifying keys and manifest.json (sha256, ids);
host/src/pinned.rs embeds and checks them at every start; the prove modes
refuse when SP1's setup does not derive the manifest's id
- --mode verify: LightProver with the pinned key, no prover client, no key
setup; prints the proof's own program id next to ours ("IS NOT OURS")
- --mode id; igneum-prove-pin and pin-guests.sh to re-pin; build.rs builds a
  guest only under IGNEUM_BUILD_GUESTS=1
- tools/ci/pinned-guests-check.sh: elf/ must match its manifest, no script
  builds a guest outside pin-guests.sh; make-package.sh and build-dmg.sh print
  the pinned ids
- unit tests on the pinned set; bench-log entry with the three ids, the cause
and the timing: 127.0 s wall per verify before, 1.8 s to 2.4 s after
- rollout order in proving/README.md: every prover and verifier moves together

fad6c0bc70 Jobs reader: the app's closing report counts as final and error lines are collected; prove-shard.sh fails the job when a stage fails
Three watchers never saw a job finish because the closing upload starts with the app header, not the SUMMARY line,
and a shard run whose stages failed still exited 0.

7db943cc0b Relay: its own key (relay-key) replaces the intake key for the Mac tools and clients; relay token rotated 4 Oct 2026 (round 4, X23); prove package excludes cross-build folders

42e6ec9c81 Relay: run and task posts need the console token (round 4, X23); prove host saves proofs buffered (ledger P20, second gap)
The intake key sits in every miner package, so the relay now lets it report only (drop text and files, ack, done,
register, upload). Posting a run or task, or renaming and re-roling a machine, needs the console token.
The prove host wrote proofs through SP1's unbuffered save: on WSL2 under /mnt/c the 18 MB core proof of a shard
took longer to save than to prove. Proofs now go through a 4 MB buffer with a timed 'saved' line, and
prove-shard.sh keeps results on the Linux side and copies them per stage. Ledger P20 updated.

860c1ec6ca Console: a job is done only on the app's closing report; prove-shard.sh takes every block fixture after the first argument
The console marked any job with a RESULT line as done, so a running shard job read as finished. Done now means
the SUMMARY line carries finished_at or the job's closing 'job <id>: <status> (exit N)' line is present.
prove-shard.sh dropped the third fixture argument (block-344-shards4) because it read only $2.

829b2e1e9d Prover package: PROVE-SHARD.bat runs the shard at S_p and the two- and four-shard blocks on the GPU
prove-shard.sh: mode shard on block-338-shard1 (execute, core, compressed), then mode block on block-341-shards2 and block-344-shards4 (compressed proof per shard, aggregation), RESULT lines with timestamps, log uploaded after each stage. PROVE-BLOCK.bat keeps the small block (mode all; the CPU comparison is mode shard now). make-package.sh packs the aggregator crate and the simnet export too; README rewritten for the shard run.

651be58375 Proving v0: SP1 guest and host for one Igneum block, real-block fixtures, versioned ProofSystem trait, WSL2 package for the RTX 5090 run
proving/igneum-prove: core (port of igneum-exec at fb33069 as the block statement), program (SP1 v6.8.1 guest),
host (execute, core, compressed; ProofSystem trait with the stub and the SP1 implementation), export (cuts a block
out of igneum_exportSegments and checks every state root against the node's). Fixtures block-78-increment and
block-56-transfers from the 3-node simnet. proving/windows-wsl2: SETUP-PROVER.bat, setup-wsl.sh, PROVE-BLOCK.bat,
make-package.sh. docs/plans/proving-v0.md: the devnet v4 shard plan, what tonight's proof shows and does not, the
morning acceptance line. Mac CPU baseline (block 78: 626 k cycles, core 22.0 s and 7.3 MB, compressed 55.7 s and
1.27 MB, both verified) appended to docs/bench-log.md, left uncommitted because that file carries another agent's
pending changes.
