publish-workers.sh: refuses on a Mac (exit 97; the page is served by build-1 since 8 Oct 2026) and loses the || fallback that spawned a second vercel deploy of the 5.9 GB dl folder

The founder's 20:21 order, 8 Oct 2026: nothing publishes to the dl host from a Mac except the site lane's one deploy script. The workers page comes from merge-workers.mjs on build-1 (build.igneum.network), so this script has no Mac job left. A box may still run it; --no-deploy stages the copy as before. The fallback to the master checkout's publish-fleet.sh ran a second whole-folder deploy whenever the first was stopped (three at once hit 17 GB RSS tonight).
